“I have been receiving professional massages for most of my adult life. While I always considered it vital to my health & well-being, when I started to get sciatica during my second pregnancy, getting a regular therapeutic massage became a necessity for my daily comfort.
I’ve had professional massages done worldwide and Toni is head and shoulders above the crowd with her knowledge, and ability to isolate my issues and relieve my discomfort. She’s also extremely caring and considerate. I cannot recommend Toni highly enough.”

Massage Services
Maybe you’ve tried seeking help but haven’t seen the results you’re looking for.
Or your Physiotherapist, Osteopath or Chiropractor has recommended ongoing massage to help your recovery.
It’s always good to try different treatments and see what works for you. Everyone and everyone’s body is different.
Massage isn’t necessarily a quick fix.
Especially if you’ve been experiencing stress or discomfort for a while.
Massage therapy addresses one piece of the jigsaw puzzle that makes up your whole-body well-being.
To make the most out of your session, we may talk about other aspects of your life that may help you make the most of your recovery.

“ I am a social tennis player, and I started to have problems with my lower back. My coach recommended Toni. Her expertise and professionalism are outstanding. After just a few sessions, my pain disappeared, and I started to enjoy my sport again. I’ve continued with weekly sessions, and it was the best decision I’ve made for my body and for my tennis. The treatment helped the muscle pain and greatly improved flexibility and range of motion. I am a better player now. “

Neuromuscular Therapy
Neuromuscular therapy (NMT) is an advanced form of massage therapy.
It uses a range of soft tissue techniques which works with the nervous system to help clients with acute and chronic pain symptoms.
As a Neuromuscular Therapist, I will determine what techniques will best suit you as an individual to address the cause of your pain and alleviate your discomfort.
Lymphoedema Therapy
What is lymphoedema?
Lymphoedema is a condition where the accumulation of excessive amounts of protein-rich fluid in the tissue results in swelling of one or more regions of the body. Lymphoedema usually affects the limb(s) although it may also involve the trunk, breast, head and neck area.
Lymphoedema is due to a failure of the lymphatic system and occurs when the demand for lymphatic drainage exceeds the capacity of the lymphatic circulation. This failure can be the result of a congenital condition or surgery.
How can Manual Lymphatic drainage help?
With Manual lymphatic drainage applied in a very skilled way using clinical reasoning and mapping of the body’s lymphatic system, I can reduce swelling by moving fluid from the swollen area into a place where the lymphatic system is working normally. MLD is also beneficial for other forms of oedema such as phlebolymphoedema and chronic venous insufficiency.
Compression bandaging may also be recommended as part of your treatment. This will be discussed during the initial session.

Each session involves a range of massage techniques and is personalised to exactly what you need on the day.
Your session may include

How often do I need to come for a massage. And other questions you might have
-
Everyone is different. And we’ll discuss the best plan for you at your appointment. Listen to your body. If you feel a difference, take note of how long you feel the benefit. The idea is to come back for another massage before the pain/discomfort returns.
-
Each session includes a 10-minute consultation before the massage begins. This helps me understand your health history and tailor each massage to your needs.
The session might include muscle testing if required in order to pinpoint specific muscles or areas that need to be worked on.
You will be treated with professionalism, honesty, dignity and respect at all times.
This includes draping for privacy and dignity at all times.
At the end of your session, you may be given some homecare that will complement your massage session.
-
This depends on how many focus areas you need to address and whether you want a full-body massage or not. The more focus areas, the longer the massage must be to address these areas properly. For example 45min for a general upper body massage addressing a few knots in the shoulder; or 75min for a full body massage with a focus on neck tension.
-
No. Everything is connected so we don’t just focus on that one area. For example, if your lower back is the area you’d like us to focus on, I’d also work on your entire back, neck and front of your shoulders. As these areas are likely to be affected.

It is a treatment for myofascial trigger points, which are small contractions in muscle fibers that cause pain, weakness and discomfort in a referred area. Neuromuscular therapy is a highly effective treatment for chronic pain, muscular trauma resulting from an accident or injury, or strain caused by overuse.
